Alpine Col

Post by Carne_DelMuerto »

Howdy all,

Been away for a while, but have been lurking the last couple of weeks. Good to see the community still thriving.

Anyone have recent info (first week of July) on Alpine Col? Headed over Lamarck on Wednesday and hoping to loop back over Alpine. I think we'll be fine, but any recent info is appreciated.

I will post a TR upon my return. Enjoy it out there!

FYI for anyone heading over: Alpine Col has one small patch of snow on north side, soft and easy to manage. The talus is another story...

I'd like to hear more about the Talus :D

Unless it's been covered in the Alpine col area on the cross country section.

From Muriel, it looks doable on the SE side of Goethe to the backside of Goethe.

Still a nice report CDM.. Looking forward to your TR!
