Hello,
We just returned from a very nice exploration trip in evolution valley via the Florence lake trail head. We really enjoyed the area and are going back to now explore some of the higher elevations lakes and mountains. We would like to loop from North lake to evo valley via the Lamarck col, over to Mcgee lakes back down to evolution valley, then exit via lake 11062 over Snow tongue pass and back to North Lake. What is your experience with these passes? Trails? Any alternate pass to avoid going down to the piute/jmt junction. We have done a lot of xcountry thanks to this forum. Any info is much appreciated. Kathy

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
