Death Valley - Perdido and Corridor Canyons

Post by Mtflyer »

Thanks Giving weekend met John, Sooz, Kathy, Dave, Rebecca, Tom and Rick in Death Valley at Lost Burro Gap. We Hiked up Perdido Canyon in the Cottonwood Mountains where we found some fossils. The next day we hiked down to the Corridor in the Last Chance Range where we hiked through narrows and found some great looking petroglyphs. Photos at http://joeidoni.smugmug.com/gallery/2191739

Two of your shots really caught my eye. Excellent! I was probably in the Panamint Valley when you took this one.

Thanks Mountaineer, glad to hear that you liked the the photos. I'm using a Nikon D70s with a Tamron 18-200mm lens. Most of the day time photos were shot using a Hoya polarizering filter.
