Anyone going to dump their current canister for Ursack S29 AllWhite?

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Not on your life. Wouldn't bet my lunch on it working in Yosemite.

Nope. Bearikade all the way. Garcia is nice but heavy.

Also Ursack doesn't double as a nice seat.

Yes I will! Weight savings trump seat! Plus I've never had a problem just hanging food anyways, now it will be with a legal container instead of a silnylon sack. I carry a bear can when absolutely needed but they simply weigh a ton and are a real pain.

Maybe even two tons, so much they break my scale every time! :unibrow:

From the link, it's not clear to me that it is/will be approved in the Sierra. Anybody got more info on that ?

The bears only worked it over for two hours. Yosemite bears will work it til it is done, and ignore the rocks you throw.

If it's approved for use without the aluminum liner I'll buy two and leave the Bearikade to gather dust in the closet.
