Hello everyone. I havent posted on here much but I have read a lot of threads and gotten some really helpful information. So I wanted to share some really awesome photos from last year's trip to the mammoth lakes area. Im doing this from my phone so hopefully they come out right. Hope you guys enjoy!

Hahaha yea I got that thing at a swap meet for like 3 bucks and it was definately nice to have. Not sure what kind of camera. My friend took the pictures and he's a photographer so he did some camera magic.

Beautiful pbotos! We were planning to spend a few days in mammoth lakes this summer for vacation. Wondering how the area was effected by the fires though and if its still a good idea.

While I look out at Laurel Mountain...
A few campgrounds down near Reds/Sotcher/Agnew (only areas really effected) are still closed - not from any fire damage but from the giant windstorm 3 years ago.
All trails are wide open. Snow levels may be a bit down, and -
(I wish I could honestly (selfishly) tell you to stay home, but -
Mammoth Lakes area is amazing!
BTW a foot, hopefullly more, of new snow blowing in right now.
