I don't know if this is unusual or not, but I thought it was pretty cool to see. After SUP surfing this morning, I decided to head up to Mount Baldy for a little training. On the way home, I saw these two fellas snacking just outside of town. It's the first time I have seen Rams, and although I would have appreciated them more in the high country, I still found it exciting.

Lucky you! I have gone desert camping the last 2 winters (Joshua Tree) and have yet to see them.

Great pictures. Rams are very rare to see. I hike Baldy a lot and I always keep an eye out since Baldy is one of the only areas you can find them. Glad to see someone got some good shots of them.

So far I've seen Bighorns twice in the San Gabriels. Once on the east fork, and once on the PCT between Throop Peak and Baden Powell. Its always a treat.
I'm always on the lookout for bears. They are extremely allusive down here compared to their Sierra brethren.
