It friken rains in Washington

Post by oldranger »

Spent the first week of March in Bellingham, Washington. It rained all but the first and last days. Luckily there are some nice urban trails with with compacted gravel trails that are seldom muddy so we were out hiking whether it rained or not. After and in one case during our hikes we were able to visit local breweries and brewpubs, too.

Oh! For you 9er fans that is a Seahawk hat I'm wearing. As you know the real Super Bowl was 2 weeks before the official one. Too bad the best 2 teams in the NFL are in the NFC.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Hey, c'mon, when in Seattle (or near Seattle, in this case)...

When I was out there a few weeks ago my daughter made me go to a football-game-watching party. Sheesh...
