Impact of latest storm on snow pack

Post by oldranger »

Been checking snow plots that I rely on for planning my trips.

After last storm:

Ostrander Lake--50% of water content compared to last year.

Gem Pass--33% of water content compared to last year.

Blackcap Basin--@95% compared to last year.

We all know what last year was like, and the new snow is welcome but is far from repairing the bleak situation.

If we got half dozen more we would be a bit better, I'm afraid it too little too late.
I'm no suture for my future.
