Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Beautiful drive between Mt. Hood and Bellingham today. Saw hood, St. Helens, Rainier, and Baker. Snow due tomorrow night.

Sat morning -
Mammoth Mountain got enough snow yesterday to bring the base up to 66 - 97 inches.
Here in town - (elev 7900) ~ 2 feet new snow so far...Snowing again now too.

c'mon, Mark.. Let's see a pic of you making a snow devil :littledevil:

we had 4"of rain out of these storms in Petaluma. we needed it. Glad to see the snow is falling. Enuf said about Mid March trips in the Sierra..
