It's raining, it's pouring!

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

It's raining, it's pouring!

I'm doing the happy dance right now, it is really raining. I was beginning to think it would never rain again. How is it in Mammoth Mark?

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Yes, we got up here in Tahoe about 2 this afternoon and it was really wet and very heavy. It has since slowed down a bit. We want to get out and stomp around tomorrow with our snowshoes and it doesn't matter how hard it snows. We will have a blast.

Hey, Jeff! You know of any good places for us to try our new crampons? We are thinking of maybe just below 89 on the other side of the Eagle Lake parking area. There is usually a bunch of ice down there. :)

Thanks,

-Russ
