Yep, looks like it. Maybe somebody would be willing to share one with ya for storage at night. I'm bringing in my little half-sized guy, it does come in handy on the overnighters, but I really do prefer the Bearikade to anything else. We still need a permit (not on self-issue yet), I'll pick one up on Friday for us all.

I think Snowy has a full size Bearikade. Maybe you can share with her; that tiny thing doesn't need all that space for food!!! :D
Trailtrekker, I thought that Snowy was picking up the permit, but I guess you talked to her and figured it out.

Yeah, Trekker, it's easier for me to pick it up Friday, than for her to get it Saturday morning. Is anyone else going to be at Onion Valley parking lot Friday evenimg?

:D :D :D
I'm back! We had great weather Sat-Wed in the Sierra!

I stopped at Onion Valley today to see what it looks like. Saw two guys trying to jump/pop start their jeep so I helped. They were out for 4 days, had beautiful weather, water bottles partially frozen inthe tent at night, no snow on the east side of Kearsarge Pass, a little ice on the west side. Only a little rockfall on one of the higher switchbacks on the drive up OV road. Its gonna be a great weekend! :D

Also, I have 3 Bearikades if people want to share.

Ryan & I will get there Thursday evening about 7pm.
I have a extra bear can if someone needs it. I'll throw it on the pile.
Finally we have a 9am Friday start, correct?

Doug, you can go in on Friday, and we'll just meet you on Saturday. Some of us can only do Sat/Sun. If anyone wants to flex the days (Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon), you should pick up a separate permit.

Tomcat, I'm up for a dayhike, just let us know what time you'll be passing by and we can be ready. I know there are some peaks that BobR does, or maybe University, Gould, or ???

For the kiddies, maybe a daytrip to Kearsarge Pass?

Yay!! We gain an hour! :D That's a plus for those that do a dayclimb Sunday! :D

TT, 9am on Saturday is a good time to start since we don't have far to hike in.

Thanks!
