I'd like to know if anyone can provide information on Horseshoe Meadows road. Is it open all the way to the trailheads? Thank you very much.

Also would appreciate any info on the area. I'm heading to Quartz Mountain tomorrow, I hope there aren't any locked gates.
I called Yosemite Sierra Visitors Bureau. They said Beasore road is open.

Are you talking about the road to Devils Postpile and Agnew Meadows? What is the campground in question? I can't locate Granite Creek...

Does anyone know if the Agnew Meadows TH is accessible by car?

Roads are dry and open, all campgrounds closed...we saw nobody at the top upper Kiosk thing.
Seems the only thing else closed per se is DPP...seemed odd.

Ah it didn't occur to me that so many names are shared between the two areas. No, I was talking about the Minarets Road near Mammoth Pool in the Sierra National Forest.

Went up on the Kern Plateau this last weekend. There were self issue permits available at the blackrock station. All 4X4 roads and regular roads were open (lots of hunters having roaring bonfires too). Car campgrounds were closed and toilets locked or had "closed due to govt. shutdown" signs, but access tot he backcountry and wilderness is OPEN!

Fishing is still pretty good. Weather was very nice as well.
