More photos from the Eastern Sierra

Post by ifernau »

Greetings,
I finished processing images from two more days of my nine day trip to chase fall colors in the Eastern Sierra. Processing is slow, I seem to have lost the enthusiasm to work on the images. Here are links to photos I took October 1st and 2nd. It is old news now, but I hope you still enjoy them.

I can totally relate to the processing fatigue. You come back all excited and start processing the photos, life gets busy and you just slog through them. Nice pictures Inge. Wish I had taken some of the crowds and things going on around me besides the landscape. I especially like one of the road shots on the first day. The one with the curve. "road along north lake".

Thanks for sharing.

I totally missed the fall colors this year! :( Thanks for posting these, at least I can see them thru your photos. :)

Noticed your "snowbow". I once saw a "moonbow" that was black and white. It was at night, so I couldn't get a photo. A few weeks ago I was hiking with BobR, Tomcat and Rachel, and the subject came up. 3 out of 4 of us had seen a moonbow! How often does that happen! :D

Very nice Inge, especially the snowbow. Now I see that image you took before I met you that morning when it was a bit calm. Your two images of "Road Along North Lake" are quite nice especially the one looking west. I'm expecting a couple nice one's from there too I took noon Tuesday. "Sabrina Basin", and "Bishop Creek Canyon" also winners. Some lab equipment problems delayed my film getting developed but that is over so I finally get to look at my 70 images from the trip tomorrow morning. ...David
