Red Peak Pass from West Side of Ansel Adams

A buddy & I are thinking of taking a loop from the west side of Ansel Adams (probably Fernandez TH) & going over Red Peak Pass. Has anybody out there done it &, if so, any trip advice? We have 5 days, so we'll have to put miles in every day. We were thinking of going in via Fernandez Pass & coming out via Post Peak Pass. This would be a mid-September trip.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Have a safer backcountry experience by using the HST ReConn Form 2.0, named after Larry Conn, a HST member: http://reconn.org
