Most years July is usually too early for those high upper EF Bear Creek areas. Wildflowers are more likely to peak early to mid August. Granite Park, Vee Lake, and Royce Lake #4 are all worthwhile destinations on an itinerary. GP has some exceptional scenic secrets especially away from the Italy Pass route. And I'd stay away from Upper Pine, Honeymoon Lake or Lake Italy. ...David
