Looked at everything (N.B. couldn't see a lot of pics on maverick dot venfolio dot com)... would someone post Lion Lake showing amazing blue layers on a sunny day? Like the one posted June 3, 2011 by lostcoyote from the pass between Lion Lk and Cloud Canyon, but without the ice.... from the outlet of this lake I traversed left up the talus slope leading to Cloud Cyn pass a few hundred feet and saw amazing rings of blue from deep blue in the center and many gradations to turquoise by the shore... pic of the lake itself, instead of the lake reflecting surroundings. ***

Don't have any pictures of that lake - never been there with a camera.

But here's a different lake, about as blue as they come, and probably photographed far too many times
