Red and White

Post by jfnr »

I keep looking at Red and White but have not heard many good things. My thought was coming in from Edison. Any thoughts.

Easiest route would up from the southwest near Little Grinnell Lake. This whole
area is beautiful and coming up from the Mono Creek area via the Laurel Creek
drainage is well worth starting from Edison Lake.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Pretty fun on skis! We just did the east slope two weeks ago from McGee Creek. The last few feet are mildly sporting.

I wish that I was in good enough shape or even had the brass to try that. It must be a heck of a rush!! Awesome John, thanks' for posting.

Thanks guys. Feeling inspired. Already have this year planned out. Now I have something to think about for 2014. Has anybody dropped into the Grinnell basin from Rosy Finch ?
