Current Conditions @ Fort Independence 09.14.06

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Thanks Matt!

My friend had to cancel our Bishop Pass trip this afternoon. Guess it wasn't meant to be. I'll look for something lower for this weekend. :(

Just like the last two years . . . Sept 20 ('05) and Sept 19 ('04)

Snow Nymph:

Things are looking pretty good for the weekend; not so windy and cold; maybe high would be OK. I will post update tomorrow.

Regards,

Matt

Thanks Dennis, that'll help me decide where to hike!

I'm packing for an overnighter and day trips. I'll decide tomorrow night.

Thanks for the reports! :D
