Mount Muir and Whitney on Thursday Aug 17
A few shots of a day hike to Muir and Whitney, Muir was a little harder than I thought it would be, the holds were there but I had to look for them.

Congratulations of Muir/Whitney! Saw your note that morning. Sorry we missed you.
We're in Mammoth still, and having problems with internet access, so I'm slowly getting my pics up.
Here's my photos from Aug 7th (same trip, Muir first, then Whitney): http://community.webshots.com/album/553221395ySGenq

Glad you made it! I haven't had good internet connection lately, so I wasn't able to send the coordinates. Glad you found it! DaveG LOVED the climb up Muir!
I had foot problems again, but I think it was my boots! I used new boots on the last two backpacks, and no foot pain at all. The boots are falling apart after 8 days on the trail, but for $40 (and in size 5) I'll get a few more pairs.
We didn't do the MR on Sunday, so planning to do it sometime soon. Wanna go? I think there are a few people that want to do it.

After deciding that I was simply not meant for Russell, I too have developed a strange desire to do it, even if it kills me.
Some rather provocative pictures appear on the following website. I may have to drink a few beers before I get started on the east ridge.

Those pics show the exposure! I'm still working on mine. I'll have them up next week. After it was over with, it was "a really cool peak!"
