Emigrant, Change in plans

I just spoke with the Ranger and he convinced me to think about a different.t area, the original plan was Chain Lakes. My problem, it top me 2wks to pick that area. I need some suggestions if you have any..
I be traveling from the Bay Area with little chance to sleep, I only have3days then back to work. Tired as I will be I'm thinking 4mi will be about tops. The only other area in Emigrant that I had considered was Gianelli to Powell lake, any other suggestions will be appreciated?

We have quite a few suggestions for Emigrant on our website. For three days you could go to Bear Lake, Granite Lake, and then out, Or ToeJam and Y Meadow and Granite Lake.

If you want a longer hike, go into Deer Lake and back out.

Or wander around Clark Fork...or Sword and Lost Lakes...

Thanks, I will take a close look at Granite Lake.
I'm going to be beat Sat so I don't want to plan on
more than about 3 mi. lay over Sun then Back out Mon. n off to work.
