Bishop only got .08" of precip. Received only .25" here closer to the mountains...

It was a good "little" dumper; and every little bit helps. But the most important part was that there was good water content in the snow. I got up close and personal by doing some shoverling Saturday. It was good old fashioned "Sierra Cement!" Wet and heavy on the east slope here at 7,000'.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Well, I don't want it to melt at all until after May 3rd when I'm done with my backcountry ski tour. After that I'm all for it!
