I was wondering what the lake looked like when dry. Nice photos.

It probably is too much to ask but I think while the lake is dry they should organize a boulder busting project to remove the numerous rocks that boaters run into every year. It would probably only take a couple days and would make the lake a more enjoyable / safer recreational lake.

Shaver Lake is an interesting place for me since my family used to have an annual trip to the Lake each summer. They did this until I was about 14. We would all go and rent a cabin for a week of boating and fishing.

I was at Edison Lake a few years ago and it was much the same way...

And yes, we camped on the lake. I have no idea if it was against any rules, but if you ever get the chance, do it.
