Need simple GPS

Post by frediver »

Wife wants one and I think she wants it to do to many things, are there any that will fulfill these requirements?
Use by Son (30) and Grandson (8yrs old) primarily for Geocaching
but will also see hiking use.
Maps are not necessary.
They just need to input GPS numbers and get to the location.
For hiking just simple out and back track will do, take me here,
mark camp, get me home etc.
I don't think downloading/uploading info.routes etc. will be necessary,
more buttons to push means more can go wrong.
Any ideas will be appreciated, she wants one in the next couple weeks.

Thanks
Shawn

I used to own a Geko 201 that seems to fit your criteria. Simple to use, small/lightweight, no frills kind of deal. Should be cheap I would think by now.

I have a Garmin etrex summit that I'd let go cheap. PM me if interested.
