Camping by Echo Lake
Does anyone know what the best campground is close to Echo Lake? I'll be driving up on a Friday night from the Bay Area & heading into Deso early the next morning headed out of Echo so trying to figure out the best place to camp. I know there are a couple of first come first serve campgrounds by Kyburz but not sure if there is something better. Let me know if you have any recommendations.

Free first-come camping at Lover's Leap. Slight walk-in. Not sure it is open. Turn in road at Strawberry Lodge.
