The Yosemite site as of today has their plowing update link on line. Nothing yet so far however:

I'd say that from the starting plowing updates, the biggest problem will be Olmsted Point agian this year. So Buck is probably pretty close to the mark at July 1. As long as the passes start to clear around then we should be okay. Since 1980 only one time it opened in July and that was July 1. Could be a new record?

Speaking of ;) I played hookie from work on Wednesday, and drove down to Bridgeport to take some pics out at Twin Lakes and the area. Decided to pop into the Deli for my usual ham and swiss on wheat. :D It's a regular stop for me when it's open and I'm driving thru! Grab a sammich and soda, head up to the Lake overlook, and just relax after the drive. :) Looks like their menu has gone up-scale in the last few years, too. They seem to be moving away from the "deli" type foods, but they still have a great selection of all kinds of stuff (seared Ahi steaks or something like that?!?!)...
