Despite the work, looks like you're all safe and having some fun.

Let it snow.. Let it snow.. Let it snow..

Might suck to have a first floor condo.. :)

That last photo illustrates it well. I've been trying to describe the pics on the local news to my husband, who's currently in SoCal.

Do you have power and phone? I know there's widespread outages. I feel lucky that our only "outage" is radio. (Round Valley...currently rain falling on top of the snow.)

Are you staying through the holidays?

Wow, that is quite a bit of snow!
Hopefully there will not be any power outages.
Stay safe, and warm Snowy!

We didn't lose power, but some parts of Mammoth did. I'm here til Jan 4th. I retired Nov 19th, so I've been here since Dec 10th. Its been nice! Sitting in front of the fireplace right now, dinner with friends later! Life is good! :D

I love my FJ! :D I would replace it with another if something happened to this one. I loved my 4Runner, but the FJ seems to get to places the 4Runner didn't. FJ has rear lockers. It also has more room in the back. I have a bed, refrig and drawers in the back. Also a nice stereo system! I didn't get the rack because it was too close to the height of the garage door and didn't want to deal with it if I was going to get it lifted in the future. The only thing I don't like not being able to see out the back, but I use the mirrors so its not an issue anymore. In Mammoth, I was able to move around easily with the big snow dumps while people were digging, dealing with chains and getting stuck. It was fun seeing guys watching while I drove thru the chunks of snow. I love my FJ! (:)

I've got to say this about snow skiing (downhill) I've skied at almost ever major resort in western US. If you like steep terrain, (I loved it. It's why I went) almost nothing could beat Mammoth, and it's right here in our Sierra.
