dmatt / Tricky Forecast, Go Prepared

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

7,000 feet at my house at Crowley Lake... Rain last night (Friday). Windy, cooler (68 degrees at 2PM) on Sat. , mostly cloudy (looks like rain) with morning temp of 38.
Sunday, high expected to be in the mid-to low 60's, night temp in mid to low 30's. Monday temps drop like a rock daytime - possibly in the high 50's.
What a change from the high 70's two days ago (thursday) when it was 78.
Sure hope that guy who was taking his wife and little boy up to those lakes out of Big Pine doesn't hit some nasty weather.
