Show yourself!

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Nice cutt. The coloration looks quite a bit like a Colorado cutthroat (the only Sierran examples of which are supposed to reside in but one east Sierra drainage). Petaluma, eh? Home of Lagunitas. Cheers.

Just realized I hadn't contributed to this thread...

EDIT: I've posted a couple more photos that don't necessarily show my face. Posting them mainly because I realize I can at times be the curmudgeon Webmaster who prefers to refrain from posting photos.

This is a wild-haired picture, which is usually how I look out there.

OK - here are a few.

Sporting my usual backpacking/hiking uniform, on a trip in the San Gorgonio Wilderness, here in Southern California, June 2010

And another, in the eastern Sierra, chillin' fat with a good glass of wine lakeside at June Lake, July 2010

And going back to the turn of the century, here I am with my wife on a snow shoe hike to Dewey Point in Yosemite, on New Years Day 2001

The latest (though 5 years old) pictures were a few Trail Talk photos taken over Old Timers 70'th birthday party up in Sisters Oregon. There are a few of me there. Check out Phil's photo page on T.T.
