How not to hang a bear bag

Spotted in Vidette last weekend, on the JMT. Not too far up the trail from a bear box with plenty of room inside.

Got any pictures of bad bear hangs?

(I'm thinking of starting a rock band called Badly Hung Bear Bag.)

I don't have a pic of what i saw, but at the "backcountry meeting" in mid July, there was a group at the middle lake that hung their bear bag at about 7' between two trees (next to their tent), and i guess, to disguise it, covered it with some black plastic.

They were also camped 25' from the lake, so i guess anything goes..
