Yosemite web cam

Post by hikerduane »

Some really great views just now. The camera on Turtleback Dome was awesome. Four layers of color. I check it out at work on my breaks or lunch, great shots when storms come thru.
Piece of cake.

I wish they'd fix the Tioga Pass web cam. Seems like when the first storm of the season blows in, the camera goes down. The other views are nice as well. Here's a site i stumbled on a few years ago with web cams across the Sierra: http://www.sierravisionsstock.com/sierr ... a-webcams/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I agree, the Sentinel Dome cam has been down a year.

I check the Yosemite, and the sierravisions web cams quite often, and sometimes
you can catch some very nice moments.
I unfortunately was not home last night to check the web cams, but did witness a very
dramatic sunset here in the Bay Area which no doubt caused those beautiful colors you
witness last night.
