Suggestions/comments for our new website
We're creating a new website about our adventures as we backpackthesierra...and would love any suggestions, comments, etc.
Here's a link to the new site: http://www.backpackthesierra.com/home/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Please tell us what you think, and how we could make it better!

Good on ya. General rule: the less text the better in things like gear reviews. Concise as possible.

Re: Suggestions/comments for our new website
Good start.
A few suggestions:
1. Add a section in trail dangers about altitude sickness and/or the importance of acclimation.
2. You go to great lengths to describe yourselves ad "M" and "P", but then give you names on your gear list. That's ok if you really meant to do that.
3. Add a few links to websites like highsiera topix, etc. (Maybe you did but I didn't read all the way through your site).
4. Add a "contact us" link. Maybe that's already there but I didn't see it.

OK! I think the site is up and running...and all your suggestions have been incorporated.
And there are quite a few amusing anecdotes sprinkled in among the trail reports and pretty photos.
CHeck it out, and keep the cards and letters coming in!

Re: Suggestions/comments for our new website
I think you'll find some of that in the section titled: about us.
there is a whole section on trail etiquette and LNT philosophy!
Check it out and let me know if you think that's enough

Looks good so far. Is there a target audience you're looking for or just sharing experiences?
