Thanks, Anita. I agree, EVO Basin is one of those places of which I could never tire, never get too much of going back. I couldn't believe how much snow was still left, although I'm sure a lot of it has melted off since last week.
Maybe heading this direction will become my July 4th tradition??

I just dayhiked into Evolution Basin on Sunday (from Darwin Canyon, not the trailhead!). Still a lot of snow (and a plague of mosquitos by Evol Lake, ugh). Your pictures are terrific, as always. Makes me want to climb Warlow sometime.
