Spring Yosemite trips

Ok now don't laugh- I moved to California six years ago, and in two dozen backpacking trips since, haven't ever been to Yosemite. I think I'll be able to take a Friday off sometime in April/early May and was thinking it'd be a good time to make it up there. I know it's very early season, and I haven't even looked at a topo yet, but any ideas for an April, first time, two night trip?
