My turnaround, what was easy before is not doable at this time.

Descend 500', up and over Panorama Dome 400', then down to Twin Lakes

Celebrated with dinner at the Restaurant at Convict Lake, married 6 years, together 12 years

(still rehabbing - 10 wks after rotator cuff surgery - no strengthening exercises yet for at least 2 more weeks - full recovery 6-8 months)

Thanks B-Squared! I turned back Sat, but not on Sun. I scared myself for a short time on the last part of that ridge. :puke: I couldn't use the shoulder, but scooted up straddling the ridge. My forearms were sore for 2 days. I have to be a little more careful.

Beautiful photos. That one of Deer Mtn is awesome! It makes me wanna climb that ridge too! You always manage to motivate me into getting off my butt and going out to hike. I am glad your shoulder is getting better.

Thanks, Hetchy! Deer Mtn is probably easy without wind and carrying the snowshoes. :D I think normally I could have walked up using two hiking poles. Great views! And nice to do something different than what I've been doing.
