I feel a little funny posting with all you that I admire so much.....But I woke up this morning and found out that this picture was picked and featured as Photo of the Day on the front page of webshots..I felt so honored that they picked my image..t was very exciting for me
I have no idea if I will get the picture to show up..but will try

madeintahoe, your shots are VERY good and this one is AWESOME! Not only is it a beautiful photo, but it's of a rarely photographed, remote place that took a lot of sweat and calories to reach! Congrats on the front page of Webshots, well deserved! =D>
It's all about the WILDERNESS!!!

Congratulations Madein,

I know a lake that looks strikingly similar...

I will return to this area, one of my favorites

I have had stuff on Webshots for about 7 years and NEVER had anything picked. That is great! Makes you feel good, doesn't it?

Buck, you get my vote for the best line I have ever read on HST:
...looking over the outlet of Evolution Lake, which was created.

Mav, love that Red Spur Basin image, brought back vivid memories of my brief visit to the area. That is one beautiful, remote, and pristine basin (love the Kaweah shot too ;)).

Here's another wildlife shot, taken in SEKI
