Recent Storms Help But Snowpack is Lagging

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Thanks for posting this.

I think we're all still way behind and we're getting deeper in the hole each day. After two poor/mediocre winters in a row, I sure was hoping this one would make up for it. I know my fingers are crossed for massive February & March precip to save the day but it's not looking good.

Hey--we are making some progress! Snowpack is creeping up towards normal, with another week of storms in the forecast. There is hope yet!

Ah, but it may be sorta nice this weekend for a large group bp trip by Kirkwood, which received 34" of snow in the last two days. Reno tv saying biggest storm of the season. More tonight.
Piece of cake.
