New Editions of JMT Guide and Maps

Post by BSquared »

Hey, folks!

I'm planning and gearing up for JMT through-hike II (the sequel ;) ) next summer, and I noticed that Wenk and Morey's "John Muir Trail" guide has a new edition since my 2004 trip (June 2007) as does the packet of JMT maps from Tom Harrison (August 2005). Anybody know if there are substantive changes in either of these? I've still got the ones I used in 2004 and they're in pretty good shape, so I'd just as soon save the carbon if there aren't any important changes.

Hi BSquared

No changes to the TH map except minor cosmetic changes according to the company.
What could they have really changed the JMT hasn't moved.
