Great shots Buckmiester! If you want to unload that 20D some day, give me a hollar (not that I can afford it now)...

WoW!

Come on now, you didn't just take the 20D out of the bag and snap those. You HAD to of used ND's etc. Good grief! Those are absoulutely amazing. The clarity and perfect exposure of the ones with the dogs makes them my favorite.

I am convinced that digital presents better on the web than scanned slides. I am still stubborn and will stick with film, even if they can't even hold a candle to yours.

I give up on photography after viewing these...

Ha! Thanks, but believe me, I ain't givin' up on film at all. In fact I'm hoping my next camera will be a Pentax 67II medium format. I still prefer the look of film, especially properly exposed Velvia 50, especially on a light table under a loupe. But I will say that a digital photograph usually does look better on the web because something is definitely lost in the scanning process of film. Eventually I'd like to shoot a Canon 5D for documentation shots and a Pentax 67II for those sweet magic lighting moments.

Thank you very much! I just sent in a bunch of slides to get drum scanned, I think 16 of them, at $40 a pop, to Color Folio and Calypso Imaging. Ouch! I'm remembering quickly why digital has its advantages!
