Very Unusual Eastside Photos 3/21-22/08
I was in the Bishop area last weekend. As luck would have it, there was a full moon and clear skies. As most of you know, clear skies are a bore for daytime photos. However, I saw an opportunity and took it. Therefore, I took far more nighttime photos than daytime on this trip. I was driving around until 1:00AM on Saturday morning and until 2:00AM on Sunday morning.
Here is the page of photos from that trip, followed by a few examples.

Laurel Mountain and Convict Lake
Mountains from the Crowley Lake Vista Point.

Church at the corner of 395 and Benton Crossing Rd.

And one of the daytime photos, petroglyphs in the Volcanic Tablelands north of Bishop.

Nice!

I took film and digital. These are the digital ones. I can't figure out a way to get more than a 30 second exposure with my digital camera, so, unfortunately I had to set it at 400ISO and put up with the subsequent noise. They were 400ISO, 30 seconds, f5.6.

Nice job Jody. There's nothing like a full moon in the Eastern Sierra. I never took advantage of it the way you just did.
