Rachel got our group together to do a Towne Peak to Panamint Butte traverse, which was 5600' of elevation gain and 7000' of elevation loss. Our group of 5 turned into a group of 10 when another group of friends caught up to us, and decided to join the traverse. Tomcat had his truck at Big 4 Mine, and was able to haul all 10 of us out. (wk 107, day 1)

We waited for Lewis and Ranboze before taking off for Corkscrew Peak. We both had sore legs from yesterdays hike but went to stretch the muscles. The clouds lifted, temps were good, and the weather and views were great!

Corkscrew Peak was in the clouds when we started

Didn't take the easy route, this was where we went on my first trip here and I know Moosie likes stuff like this
