Conglomerate Mesa, Jack Dunn Peak and Panamint Charlie's "Fall Haul"

This weekend was Panamint Charlie's ''Fall Haul'' weekend, so we did some desert hiking near Panamint Springs and got to join in the fun at night. The first part is Conglomerate Mesa. That wasn't enough so we bagged Jack Dunn on the way to Panamint Springs Resort. We ended up staying til after midnight. Fun time!

Snowy, you had quite an active weekend! Looks like a lot of fun, even with the smoke in the air! One of these days, one of those guys is going to pull a muscle on those silly shots of yours!!!!!!

Tom, I got a laugh out of that one, too!!!!!!! :D

Fun trip! And yeah, we laughed hard on the "Rockettes" silly shot! Everyone was losing their balance because the timer took a long time (for once). If it makes you laugh, its good! Just like my signature says! :D

btw, usmcjim was a lurker on this board, but posted this week since he's been on a trip. Welcome to Topix, Hard Charger! :D

Lookout City in Panamint Valley

PHOTOS: http://snownymph.smugmug.com/gallery/3750517#215685106

Lewis showed us some old trails leading to Lookout City. We thought we were on Lookout Mountain because Lewis told us we were (and he knows the area), but he later e-mailed and said it was the next peak that I questioned him about. I should have paid more attention to the map and description. LEWIS!!!!!

ok, really late getting outta here. Headed north again tonight! :retard:

Hi Cori,

Thank you for the welcome.I enjoyed meeting tomcat and Rachel
along with Tom G and of course the Snow Nymph.
Thank's for showing me the ropes.
They made me carry every ones pack down upon reaching the turn around point, they told me it is a mountain ritual, reserved for Topix newbies,i wonder if they were pullin my leg?
