Trailmaster Peak 10-13-07

Post by Trailtrekker06 »

Met Cori, Tom, Mike and Laura at Horsehoe Meadow for a trip up to Trailmaster to celebrate Tom's 26th week in a row over 10K. Tom suggested a different route than the usual trek up and over from Cottonwood Pass. It was a nice trip, easy pace (which was a good thing as I was feeling the elevation for some reason) and crisp weather. Fun stuff. Pics :

Nice pics, Sooz; I like the effects the clouds have on the landscape; I think Horseshoe looks pretty cool with the clouds overhead. Really like the sunset photo with the trees in the foreground!

Great trip! Great weather! Great views! I liked the route we took.

It was a gorgeous day and a great group! That area continues to amaze me (it was only my second time up there!). Can't wait to get out again!

Sooz - looks like you crossed to the "other" side for your online photo sharing. Yeah, I purchased an account on SmugMug too, but so far, Im pretty disappointed, which is why Im using up my WS space for now. Upload time for SM is painfully slow - it can take several HOURS to upload an album of oh, 50-60 photos to SM. Same images on WS takes much less time.
Walking outside is where I find what's inside.

Ranboze- Yeah, I crossed over to the other side :) and I know what ya mean about slow uploads, however, the quality far surpasses WS and some of my pics actually look good. Are you still shooting with the Olympus? Which version of Smugmug did ya try? Maybe that makes a difference.
