Any info? Camp sites around Treasure Lakes in Little Lakes Valley

Post by Sci »

Long time reader, first time posting (just registered ;) )

I am looking at going up to Treasure Lakes 2nd wk of August. I have done LLV many times, as well as Mono Pass, but I have yet to CC to Treasure Lakes. I have been researching the 2 routes as well as fishing reports, however I have yet to find any info on anyone camping there or good areas around the lakes for pitching a tent...

Anyone have any info?
Thanks!

Thanks. I had read that one and it seemed like they were talking about sites above Gem Lake.

Hi Sci,

There are campsites at the upper and lower lakes. Use the search feature, type in "treasure lakes + camping", and you will find a lot of useful info. ;)

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Maverick

Thank you. I had done that, and the majority of those posts discuss camping at the "Treasure lakes " near South Lake outside of Bishop. However, I did find one that I overlooked that had some good info.
