I remember driving down the valley years ago at night, Fresno to Visalia. The sun began to illuminate the eastern sky. The highest peaks of the range were a perfect sillouette against the sky. Sublime.

If I'm lucky, I can see the lady in the townhouse behind me hacking up part of her lung while lighting another Lucky! :puke:

Now, if I walk 30 seconds out to Virginia Lake, I can see the east side of the Carson Range, currently covered by a nifty level of snow (if the rain clouds weren't there)! :D

At least we have the Carson Range Steve. I've often thought about doing a traverse of the range, Spooner to Mt. Rose summit. Sorry about that neighbor.
