High Sierra Video

Post by BigPsycheDadee »

We just came back from a three week trip to the High Sierra. Did some car-camping and dayhiking along with two 5-day backpacks, one in the Pallisades, one around New Army/Cottonwood Passes.

Just posted a pretty cool video on it.

What a hoot! I particularly liked the soliloquy toward the end there, with what looked like New Army Pass in the background ;)

What was the music at the very end -- sounded like a cross between a requiem and the Lord of the Rings music ... ?

Nice!! I think that was the theme from Conan the Barbarian at the onset, right? What an awesome trip! :D

Thanks, glad you liked it.

The lead-off song is called the "Anvil of Crom" from the Conan the Barbarian soundtrack. The last tune, after my rant near New Army Pass, is the theme from The Lion in Winter (1968 version).
