Sierra Photos Part of Permanent Display
The 5th District Court of Appeals has built a new facility in Fresno California.
I was invited to submit photographs of the "California Landscape" for review.
twenty seven of my photos have been chosen and will be part of a permanent
display in the new facility. All twenty seven photographs will be printed at 20"x30" !
Karen from Perfect Frame in Fresno is framing all of the pieces...she drove down
from Fresno yesterday with the mats so I could sign them. They hung the photos today.
Our Governor is touring the facility tomorrow.
The mats were linen....really nice...I'm sure the frames will be too.
According to Karen the inside of the new building is supposed to look like Yosemite..
Lot's of granite, etc. that explains why they chose so many Yosemite photos.
The photos the appellate court justices chose are here...

There will be a reception for the photographers and press in November

Hey Windwalker, I've been hiding at home with my family... it's darn tough to leave my little boy for a weekend... I didn't think I would be this bad, ha! But I'm also working at building a digital audio/video studio here at home so I can do some things I've been wanting to do for a long while. As usual, I have to say my disclaimer that I REALLY do hope to get out this fall, but I realize I keep saying that with each new season! I have quite a bit of flex time so if the aspens in the eastern Sierra are strong this year, which with the drought and all I would be surprised if it is... I'm there! A lot! I hope!
