Nice and easy warmup hike in Yosemite, for our dayclimb of Mt Baldwin on Saturday. 3.1 mi and 1,800' el gain.

Nice pics; looks like the perfect warm-up hike.

I heard that they are closing the Sierra next weekend for refurbishment............. :D

Many thanks to SN for hitting Thor with me yesterday after what I heard was a TOUGH Saturday. I had a blast, especially on the descent running from the potential rain! :eek:

Convict Lake (7,600') to Mt Baldwin (12,615')

This dayclimb was 16.5 miles, 5000' el gain and loss, in 12.5 hrs (incl 1.5 hr at the summit)

Thor Peak (12,306') via Class 3 route, down SE Couloir

MooseTracks and Snow Nymph went up the Class 3 route , then bombed down the SE Couloir. 6.1 mi/4,000' el gain for the day. My total for the weekend: 25.5 mi with 10,800' el gain. Next weekend breaks my record of 86 consecutive weekends!

Awesome everyone! Beautiful and with some funny pictures.
Yes..that belly floppy one is a classic :lol: :lol: ...it is cute I think! I would have loved to have seen that bear..I went on a bear call on Monday..but when I got to the location he or she bear had already left the scene.
