Inyo SAR Incident Trail Camp 9/16

Post by maverick »

Inyo Co Sheriff's Dept:
On September 16, 2018, H-80 was requested by Inyo County Sheriff's Office to assist a hiker in distress at Trail Camp, at 12,000 feet. A 67 year old female was experiencing acute mountain sickness (AMS) symptoms, and had sustained a laceration to her head. Other hikers were able to stabilize the injured party and monitored her overnight until H-80 could arrive. H-80 made an early morning offsite landing at Trail Camp and transported the party to Southern Inyo Hospital in Lone Pine for treatment.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
