Who's Building the Rock Arches on Hwy 395 and 190

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Who's Building the Rock Arches on Hwy 395 and 190

Post by Lewis »

Driving down 395 in the area of the volcanic rocks, small rock arches (made of 2 rocks standing on end with a 3rd rock on top) can be seen from the hwy. I have also seen these on Hwy 190 heading into Death Valley.

Who is building these? is it a Arch Cult? are these actually small altars used for sacraificing Barbi's or GI-Joes?

I have heard that a certain "Arch Enemy" vigilante group that hangs out on this board has been knocking down these arches of evil.

I don't want to sell them "short" by giving away their name.
