Pyramid Peak (12,866') in Little Lakes Valley

A nice day trip that took us thru alpine lakes, boulder fields, snow, and some incredible views of the Sierra.

Hey Snowy,

You always have great pics, but I think you need to check that link. It's pointed at the wrong album. :unibrow:

SN - It's nice to see that your knee healed up in time for the weekend.

The scenery on that hike to Pyramid sure is beautiful. After checking out your pictures, I added Pyramid Peak to my list - I really would like to try Bear Creek Spire eventually too, but I know that one would be really tough for me.

Snowy, I got on to the Pyramid Peak album from your home page like you mentioned; beautiful pics! As I have been to the LLV area 4 times in snow-covered conditions, I resolve to make it out there in summer conditions this year as well!

I don't recall ever seeing a herd of dogs in the area. Is this a unique phenomena to the LLV area in summer? :-k

Lewis and Trekker, thanks for letting me know about the "wrong" link. I must've been tired this morning.

The Petroglyph album is still marked "private", so I have to figure out how to fix it.

still adding/editing the Petroglyph album and will finish next week. Leaving in 1-1/2 hrs for NV! :D
